When Doris contacted me for photos to grace the back of her new book, I was, of course, super excited to be working with a fun, new author! She wanted something a little different than a typical headshot, so this was right up my alley! In spite if the tricky weather we keep having this summer (super hot and super rainy!) we were able to snag some gorgeous shot of Doris that she can use to market her budding career as an author!

Even though I predominantly focus my photography on weddings (and I wholeheartedly love it) shooting for bands and musicians is always one of my favorite “other” things to shoot!

Ashley contacted me after seeing some work I did for another musician, and as soon as I checked out her music I was an instant fan! She has a truly beautiful voice and a bluesy, organic nostalgic feel, if that makes any sense 🙂 All I know is I love it!

So after a ton of voting on Facebook, Twitter, and my Blog…the results are in and the black ad is by far the favorite! 63 people voted – the end result 25 to 38. Thanks so much for your input! This was such a tough call for me, but I’m excited to run the ad! I’m already loving the Brides Florida family so I can’t wait to see what the rest of this year holds!
