I had so much fun with Fred & Ashley on this shoot! We expected rain, but it stayed away, so we just basked in the beautiful light instead (always my favorite way to shoot!)

When Matthew Wengerd of A Fine Press contacted me about doing a shoot to promote his beautiful custom event stationery, I was completely on board! We teamed up with the always incredible Ashly Olivier of Olivier Events who perfectly styled and coordinated the shoot, and I think between the 3 of us we confirmed that these Lakeland area wedding vendors are a force to be reckoned with! The delicate details of the wood veneer menus and escort cards, and the incredible calligraphy on the invitation make my mouth water! And Ashly’s romantic styling perfectly sets off this southern rendition of a Gatsby affair!
We’re all absolutely thrilled that this shoot was featured on the 100 Layer Cake Blog this week! Check out their post here!
Our incredible models for this shoot, Jess and Jason, are one of my couples for next spring…so be on the lookout for their real wedding photos in a few months
Just in case you didnt already see it on 100 Layer Cake, or you just want to see a little more…

A beautiful Lakeland wedding on a chilly New Year’s Day…a great way to start 2010!
Kim was an absolutely lovely bride! Kim and Alex chose to see each other for a private moment before the ceremony, which was just so sweet and beautiful! The main concern that brides have about doing this is that it takes away from the moment of the bride walking down the aisle. I think if Kim had this thought at all, one look at Alex’s face during her entrance to the ceremony would have put her mind at ease! So priceless and emotional…just check out the pics! I love how in love these two are!
